Hello Chip: The truth in your words have brought encouragment and confirmation to both my husband and myself.

I have been very blessed in having that understanding of resting and abiding in CHRIST. It is amazing and fulfilling, nothing like it. A place of peace and refreshment.

A place where I can minister to God and in return the word opens up and becomes alive. It feeds me.

What a place. The more we abide in this place the less friends we seem to have. And yet the joy within me is my strength. My husband and I become more in tune and in return we are able to see the plans of God unfolding before our eyes. What a feast.

When one can realize that the "things" of this world do not compare to the love of Christ, that He will never leave you life begins to have meaning.

Burdens are broken off of you. What a joy.

Blessings from Canada

Chip, after pouring concrete all day for an outdoor patio project, I came in to find this wonderful article in my email. Was I ready to Enter into REST!

Seriously, your article hits right where Jesus is dealing with me today. He is not looking for people to work for him; He wants vessels through whom He can work. Our task is to get out of the way and let God be God through us.

I'm anxious to read your other articles because clearly we are on the same journey. It's all about Jesus Christ!

Is there a way to send you a private message?

Oh, how I love this message, Chip! While many believers consider the rest you have spoken about "apathetic," for me it has been one of the greatest blessings of knowing and trusting Jesus. It is well with my soul...regardless of the circumstances.

Thank you for this message!
