Hi Chip and my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord.
Felt very unsettled after leaving the last comment.
Am in the discilpeship program with Chip and Karla.
Today, it was talking about the work of the cross, in death, burial, and resurrection.
I said, "God, what is it in me that has to die? Most of my friends are in the IC, and I hear all this stuff, and I get upset."
I felt He said that just as I put my unsaved loved ones in His hands, when I came to understand about Christ being All in All, so I have to put my saved loved ones in His hands too.
I felt that He showed me that He brings us all to little pigpens. Then we have a choice. We can "come to our senses", or we can choose to remain in the pigpen. He leaves the choice with us.
Even though we all go into little pigpens, in the end we will all "come to our senses" one way or the other.
I swallowed the church's teachings hook line and sinker for many many years. It was only through His mercy that He has begun to open my eyes and start leading me out. If He could do this with me, He can with anyone. It just takes enough pigpens, and eventually the person wants out.
So I can trust God with my saved loved ones. I can trust that His pigpens will eventually do their "job". His purposes in all of creation will be accomplished. We all can rest in that.
Meanwhile I will continue to speak up, as I feel this is what He wants me to do. But to let it "get to me", is sin. This is not His will. It does not show trust in Him.

Leaving alot of comments lately. The greater my frustration, the more comments.
Talking with a friend yesterday. She related that her friend spoke to a prophet before the meeting. He gave her a bad word.
It was this friend's fault, because she knew that "you're not suppose to speak to a prophet before a meeting. You're suppose to wait after the meeting." That was why she got a bad word.
Where do these rules come from? They certainly do not come from the Word. These are man-made rules. And we condemn the Jews for all their rules. We have just as many ridiculous, man-made rules. Rules that keep us in bondage. Rules that condemn us for things that God never had in His mind.
How is it that we love the Law so much, we cannot stay away from it? We cannot break free of it. We willingly put ourselves under it, never questioning it. Never seeking if it is of the Lord. How we love our formulas! Everything has become these neat, nice, albeit very complicated and intricate formulas. Oh how far we like to believe we've come from the Jewish system of regulations and rules. And yet, we are no different.
When will we learn of You, Lord? When will we put down our man-made rules and formulas, and truly follow after You? You burden is light, Your yoke is easy. Please Lord, open the church's eyes to see the heavy burden we've placed on ourselves. The hard yoke we've placed on ourselves. Open our eyes Lord, and help us to WANT to be free. Help us to give up our pacifiers of man-made rules and regulations, and go on to a mature relationship of knowing You.
