It is a great and wonderful fact that fullness of God dwells in you when you dwell in Christ. But this fact has been minimised and reduced to a dismal state through arguements and unneccesary bickering. We will certainly attain that fullness when we will start working out our own salvation with fear and trembling. When I decrease, then He increases. But I have to ensure that I am in Christ and His incorruptible seed of the living Word is abiding in me and germinating.

The Scriptures were written under the inspiration of the Holy spirit. There are dozens of versions and tragically, there are millions of interpreters and every body likes his own convenient interpretation. What is written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit must be read under the unction, under the leading & inspiration of the Holy spirit, otherwise I will Kill the letter. There is no good thing in my flesh.Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I that do it,but sin that dwells within me. Wretched man that I am! who shall redeem me from this body of death.I am too rational, judicious, sound, wise and intelligent. No wonder, God chose only what is foolish in the world to shame the wise.

I may be wrong, but it looks like some people think that Chip was saying that we don’t need to pray to God for anything any more.
But I don’t believe that’s what he meant.
I think he means that we don’t need to pray about the attributes of Christ. Since He lives in us, His attributes also are in us, and will manifest more and more as we look to Him.
I think that’s what he means.

Yes, God dwells within us. He is our fullness. I just want to mention, when I cried, yes, cried from the depth of my heart, I was in my 20’s,I knew nothing about any scripture. I was unlearned in all scripture at that time(prob.a good thing) I simply cried with all my heart to one that hears. The only “religion” scripture, teaching, etc…I had had was a little velvet cross that I had kept since a child”. The name of Jeus was on that cross. I may not have the “exact” understanding that you want me to have, I just know that Jesus hears and answers prayer. Where’s the misinterpretation here? Or do I really need to know, or do I just need to know “Jesus”. I already know the answer, good luck in your “doctrine”.

Ask,Seek,Knock, Even Jesus asked that this cup be removed, but nevertheless, they will be done. It’s not wrong to ask God for help in any way. Yes, this is because He is in us, He’s our All in All.

I will never forget the time I prayed for my mother who was not breathing for almost 30 minutes. She was even code 99 (dead upon arrival at the hospital)…When the ambulance finally got there to get her, after 30-30 minutes It was then when they moved the kitchen table and chairs to carry her through, I got on my knees and cried out to god. I said “I know you hear me, Help my mom, and I’ll do anythng you ask. That was the first time I felt this kind of peace. It permeated us all, my husband and me and my brothers.

We all knew she would live. There was no doubt.
She did, and for another 30 years to accept Christ

Yes, God hears and answers all our prayers. and requests…not because of us, because of Him. Not because of our righteousness, belief system, but Faith In HIm……No one will ever convince me otherwise that God does not hear our requests, and answer them.

Ask,seek,knock……..
Even Jesus Himself said”Ask and you shall receive that your joy may be full”.
…whatever things you ask for in prayer..
ask and it will be given you..etc.and others-look them up.
Our Father God wants His children to ask Him for the things we need..even though He knows before we ask..

Amen! but then how do we talk to God? We’ll last night, and as usual all alone in the house, and I was watching drama series, and then washed the dishes to shake the sloth of me, nd after that I said, Oh Jesus,Oh God, I dont like to open the Bible.my eyes hurt…but I know that You are everthing to me, to us, all our activities at this level are mere stations, if we could only cross over in a shortcut to “where you are”..and prayed for mercy for me and for all until our time is up knowing fully well we could still be snatched? Oh No! We trust you Lord with this life, we are weak ..you will complete us..and then ..finding nothing to say I was lulled to sleep and in peace uttering JESUS..over and over..and over.I am at peace with that..Thank you brother Chip..for reinforcment,and ilumination and Thank YOu God in Jesus name.

Yes Rosey, very, VERY exciting!!
As a confirmation and encouragement to you and anyone else; one scripture that I rest on is John 14:15-29 where Jesus comforts His disciples and ALL who would follow, including us, and promises the indwelling of His Holy Spirit (v.17) and, therefore (v.20) God the Father and the Son Jesus -the Godhead, the Trinity – for EVER (v.16).
Praise His Holy Name….
