Thanks Brother Chip:
I'm sure Joseph didnt like the pit, didn'tlike being sold, didn'tlike rejection and being hated by his own family members....I'm sure Paul didn't enjoy it in prison, I'm sure Noah couldn have used a hand here and there....I desire with my whole heart to walk with God, even if all these things happen because I've learned that He will take care of me through it all. I am His workmanship, He's the potter. I am just the clay. Mold me and make me Lord, for your purpose only.

Thank you for a very enlightening, encouraging and refreshing exposition of Walking With God. In this day and age when everything moves at a very high pace, walking with God cannot be faster than 24 hours a day.

Perseverance, patience and endurance are all missing characteristics of the present age with instant-everything. Your article here remind us that our labour is not in vain in the Lord. When the daily chores add up to the years or labour and toil, and the Church takes for granted our "mundane" presence, feed its sheep with gravel and fleeces their wool, then exploits them for lamb chops. Where I am, I do not see any pastor or minister in my past 40 years as a Christian whom I can say demonstrated characteristics that you mention here. In fact as a grow older I see the contrary. Yet who am I to judge them, they will say. Well, shall I not expect fruits from their tree? The Lord would, or he shall have such fruitless trees cut down.

So, I thank you that you have very aptly summarised for me the need to persevere and that obedience is once again more to be preferred than sacrifice or originality. Obedience in every detail will be vital in our living sacrifice.

God continue to bless you in every good work! Press on brother.
