		<description>Hi Chip,

So adapt for me to receive this teaching today as we both left our old church yesterday. Reasons range from no teen group for my daughter to develop her faith with, but also the wrong attitude from the church leadership.

We have given such grace. Prayed prayers. The Lord even gave us a heart to run a teen group. All the Spirit&#039;s leading were ignored.

The teen group that was in attendance when we had this spiritual leading left as nothing was done to cater for their needs. Another church in the area closed and along came other set of teenagers, they also left as nothing was in place.

Had the leadership been open to God&#039;s choice for the teen group teachers he had given, to start and run the teen group BEFORE the first teens had left and BEFORE the other church teens arrived and then left, we would not have now needed to take the decision to leave ourselves.

The Lord often leads into such work, those that the church leadership would not necessarily choose to do His work.

Since our church leaders were the controlling sort nothing was done for the teenagers and all the teenagers went elsewhere. Our church leadership did not like God&#039;s team choice.

If you have prayed, been gracious beyond yourself but still after a time of waiting nothing changes. Then why are you still allowing controlling leaders who are not being the servants they should be to control your family&#039;s faith work?

You do not serve the leadership you serve Jesus.

Jesus is the perfect standard for leadership, and if the leaders of your church are not honouring His example or honouring and respecting those of their church membership, then it is time to leave.

Leaders who control will never preach the truth for the truth of Jesus&#039;s grace and example will convict them.

Pray for the leaders, pray for God&#039;s leading and when you know it is the right thing to do. Go.

We have found a suitable gospel preaching church for our family with the leadership example given that is correct. They are so different to my last church leadership, all members are valued, all have a voice and the word preached is from all areas of the bible not just those parts that fit in the church ideal of what it means to be a modern Christian.

If you are in doubt, for it is a hard decision to leave church for you have friends and relationships to consider, look at the word that is preached. Is it consistent with the teachings of Jesus and his apostles and the prophets in both the old and the new testament?

If not the heart of your leadership needs to be questioned.

Read the bible for yourself, NEVER rely on others to teach you the truth.

YOUR FUTURE DEPENDS ON YOUR OWN WILLINGNESS TO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS - NOT WITH THE IDEALS OF YOUR CHURCH LEADERSHIP.

God bless to you all,
