That was good Mario — you are so right — I was very confused about this very thing — as a new Christian — I heard people “saying” one thing — but “seeing” them do another.
I saw those who I believed to be Christians do things that did not line up with what Jesus
taught — I finally understood – they had accepted Jesus “intellectually” – but not
“spiritually” — as you said — they had not received Jesus in their HEART — spiritually —
The Lord gave me this answer one time as I was asking him why this was so — He answered me — “People want me IN their life — but they don’t want to give their life
TO Me —- As I grew in understanding — I knew I had received Him in my heart –
because I did not want to do something that would disappoint Jesus – who had been the only one faithful to me —
I liked your phrase -“their hearts did not cross over the red sea” — that is good. I have also experienced that type of “relationship” where one thinks they can be a “Christian” — and still do what the world is doing — “walking on both sides of the fence” — there does come that day — they must choose who they serve — themselves or God — cannot have both — God bless —

Awesome testimony — and it is sooo true — trying to lead the blind out of the darkness who are mired in “religion” – and don’t know the difference — is certainly a difficult thing — they are not ready to take responsibility for their “choices” — and still must be lead by what they “think” is a higher power — they have to be ready to make their OWN choices — so glad you have found “partners” to stand with you — It is prayer and standing in the gap that brings awakening — that leads to revival — Blessings

“pigpens” — had not thought of it that way – but very apt — LOL —
Yes — I too am learning to put both my loved ones – saved and unsaved – in HIS hands – to let the Holy Spirit do His work in them — remembering the Lord’s arm is not short — but can reach anyone — and who knows better that God how to reach them — I found this in my Spirit-Filled Life Bible for Students — in a “notebox” on this page — “God is the fountainhead of all life and power – man is the appointed heir for its management …. the created Universe and the glory of the Heavens are God’s alone – He has delegated the stewardship of Earth’s affairs to mankind …. God is sovereign … but He has given duties to man …. and will NOT VIOLATE MAN’S FREE WILL … sinning is man’s choice …
SO — I pray this from 1 CHRONICLES 29:10-20 — David’s prayer to his son – Solomon — replacing Solomon’s name with those I pray for —
v.18 “O Lord God of Abraham – Isaac – and Israel – our Fathers – keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people – and FIX THEIR HEART TOWARD YOU …. And give my son/daughter – a loyal heart to keep Your commandments and Your testimonies and Your statutes – to do all these things and to build the “temple” for which I have made provision” —-
It is your prayers that makes provision for the “temple” that will be established IN THEM – for Christ to dwell — Amen !
