Then, there are those who have received some great insight or revelation that seek to share this with others. But humility is needed, least we, in our own “self-satisfaction” appear to know more than other brothers and sisters in this faith. Then, we end up boasting in our position or “head knowledge” which only reveals our egotism and vanity. I thank God for what is only “His knowledge and wisdom to begin with”. And I thank you Brother Chip, for how God uses you to bring to us His truth in all humility. The “message” is always shown to be more important than the “messenger” with you. May God likewise bless us all with this kind of humility to share His Good News with others. God bless you!

Our Lord Jesus said this, If you have seen Me you have seen My Father in Heaven. Not everyone can achieve it. We tend to concentrate on the things (The Its) instead of the Person which is our Lord Jesus Christ. As you have been saying many, many times, Christ must increase in me and we must decrease. In this way the holy Spirit will open our eyes and ears so that we can see and hear the Lord.

This ‘good fight of faith’ is difficult because we are morals serving an immortal god ~
We grow from faith to faith & precept upon precept.
& we do have the mind of Christ & all of Jesus but it has to be ‘worked out’ ~
And the bible says that god will complete the ‘good work’ He has begun in us ~ & not ’til we are in Heaven will we be totally perfected.

I view myself as a work in progress in the Son. Trying to grow and mature. It has been difficult in this process as I never witness the gifts, given to complete us, used in the assembly as God laid out through Paul at 1 Corinthians 14.
