In reply to <a href="https://theschoolofchrist.org/december24#comment-6126">sherry</a>.

What we fixate our eyes to, is what we become and it consumes us. This is why we fixate our eye's on Christ and His resurrection, so that His Life is in us, not our own. His resurrection is what allows us to fixate on Him and not ourselves. We cannot add to the word of God and we cannot take away from it. God orders all things and He orders His worship. We have to do what God says, not what He doesn't say. For this we cannot do what we want or what everyone else does and think God will be OK with it. Obeying His Word is all He wants. We cannot take part in traditions of men, when God says in His word not to. The second return of Christ is very near as the word of God is coming to pass and we have to be ready for our Groom, without spot. His return,God will call it to happen, just as He did His creation. Yes all things are of Him and for Him!!!

Yes, because we have life and life more abundant in Him, we should forever remember and be thankful for His grace and mercy that endures forevermore. It's His death, burial and resurrection that we are to remember and it's death that brings Life. As we give God the glory for all He has done, our love and thankfulness is that Jesus was raised from the dead and that we may also be raised from the dead into newness of life in Him.

We must be thankful to God for this life He has given us. This life which is full of joy due to His goodness and mercy. He makes our life complete because without Him we're nothing on this earth. So we must continue in our faith, to walk with holiness till we finish the race. Glory to God!

And for that reason, we come on our knees, in adoration, to celebrate His coming to our earth. The WORD...the LOGOS becoming flesh. And living amongst us. Too glorious to take in. Only by His grace can I be worthy
