I was reading an article on paganism and false gods.
Because God says to worship Him in Spirit and Truth
and I’m struggling with pagan holidays that the church celebrates and God says He doesn’t want to be worshipped with the same traditions as false gods, and if we do, our worship will be in vain and not excepted. In this article the word Amen was defined as the name of an Egyptian god meaning, “hidden”. I was wondering what you have studied and is there any truth to what I have mentioned?, or is there a change in pagan days and words we use when the new covenant in Christ changed the old covenant?
