Hi Roger,
I am also from a small town in Ontario - wouldn't it be great if it is the same town -- I don't suppose you are from Elliot Lake??

Yes, I know what you mean, about a heavy heart, Roger. It's such a lonely walk. I don't fit in anywhere with anyone. My heart's cry is, "Doesn't anyone understand?"
Just this morning I asked the Lord, "What am I to do?"
I know I have not been responding in the right way. I've been full of anxiety, frustration. Not exactly what I'd call the fruit of the Spirit. Here is the temptation. To look around, and to feel alone and hopeless. This leads to a spiraling down. Lord forgive me.
Lord, help me to keep my eyes on You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose in all of this.
Help me to love the "religious", and those caught in religion, as I also have plenty of that still left in me. Forgive me for judging, help me to love.

I am encouraged to hear other people see the truth about organized religion. I like the example of the "machine".
Living in a small town in Ontario,Canada and it seems like there is only a handfull of believers seeing the truth also feels like there is more persecution to be received by "believers" that the world itself. nevertheless, I thank Holy Spirit for bringing us the revelation but with a heavy heart impatiently await for others to join us in this truth. I only know one other couple so far who understands and they have been removed from the "machine" for 7 years. We re-connected with them a couple years ago.

What a timely article! And I read it today, Independence Day. The day celebrating our freedom!
Read another article today about the sower and the seed. It likened the hard path, not to unbelievers, but to the religious dogmatic! It said their hearts, being already made up with all the teachings and doctrines they have received, are unable to receive anything from the Lord Himself.
Finally spoke up about the tithe to some friends, because of issues coming up. Glad I did, but the results have been painful.
Ah that religious machine...

I believe if we follow Christ within the religion without will have little power over our walk. This means we must follow him for ourselves and what we understand from his and their writings and our inner knowing of Him.I find I look to religion when I do not have the answers to the questions. The sweat, prayer and patience needed to get to Christ within.
