I’ve come to your site with a heavy heart today. I’ve sat here at my computer reading Entering His Rest, The Call of the Cross, and now Drowning in the Sea of Self. As I’ve read and jotted down some notes, I’ve felt my fears calm. Now I have a deeper understanding of God’s purpose in these events of my life and I see what I’ve been called to do: simply decrease. The less I do the better, the more I let Him do the better. Thank you a thousand times over for making this available for your readers. God led me here to read this today.

Christ has oft used deep waters to rescue me from my dependency upon self. When I no longer struggle in deep waters I will have learned to trust Him as much as He desires me to.

I know this was`nt exactly the theme of the message, simply reflecting out loud. :`)
