Recently, we were discussing ‘communion/taking emblems’ with friends of ours – we all agreed that since being called out of the religious system, the taking of this tradition just does not ‘feel right’ – given that Jesus said at ‘the last supper’:”Do this in rememberance of me..”, what are we supposed to do..?

In the following days from this discussion, God led me to John 6:26-66, where I believe He showed me that His words at that last passover meal were in support of this scripture, and that His teaching in John 6:53-58 shows that He is our ‘meat and drink’.

Now Chip you believe, and have taught from scripture, that Jesus Christ is our ‘sabbath’ rest, and I know of others who have had that revelation directly from God.

So, seeing this morning your ‘daily bread’ taken from this article, and after reading the above, I am moving toward the belief that Jesus is, Himself, our once traditional emblems, in the same way that He is our sabbath rest.

In other words, our Lord Jesus Christ is everything – as in EVERYTHING.

To everyone – please share with me on this – if I am wrong, tell me… but, if this is the truth, then let us move on from what would then be another traditional ritual.
