This is the very reasons I left the church system, “Jesus was and is not the head.” Where people are blind to this knowledge is because the structure is still standing and functioning so they assume they are in Gods will. Yes, the men that take the head position do what they think is right and then want God to bless it. Since every thing looks right in their own eyes, it has to be the will of God, so the thing continues on. This is where so much worldliness has made its way into the body of Christ, from worship, to mans ideas to ministering. I believe until we truly make Jesus our head and we are His hands, feet and mouthpiece sharing the gospel with those that are lost, we will never have eye’s to see Him and His Gospel. I believe He has handed men over to a probate mind because they continue to take the place of Christ, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Those that follow men as the head of the church are just as guilty in their blindness. Pride of man is the hardest sin to break away from because self loves the flesh. Following our Head who is Jesus, will take suffering a very painful crucifixion of the flesh and removal of our own head. This is what many are not willing to do in order to follow the Truth. I thank Jesus for opening my eye’s thus far to His spiritual Truth. I just wait on Him now and go when He says go and be still when He says be still. Making Him our head gives us such freedom in Him because He does all the leading and all I have to do is follow. How easy is that? His yoke is light and not burdensome.

Amen. Beautiful. The wound is cured when The Head is on the Body…. Christless “Christianity” is our enemy’s one purpose manifested in numerous ways. He HATES the ” mystery” of the Biblical gospel; Christ IN us! Much of what passes for Christianity today is corrupted due to lack of knowledge of The New and Everlasting Covenant we are born again into by the cross, resurrection and His innocent blood. Timeline, intent of author and context teaches that Christ has fulfilled the Old Covenant when He presented His perfect blood in the heavenly holy of holy’s. The Spirit of prophecy is bought forth only with the testimony if Jedus Christ Himself. He. Him. . He died to give us a new covenant and to make us a Kingdim of Priest’s whose first ministry is to minister unto The Lord . Revival will come as His Body fix our hearts eyes on Jesus and spend time daily to minister or worship Him. The ” New Covenant in my blood” along with our call of our Priesthood will put The Head back on the Body. It’s all about God’s grace, live and revelation knowledge of His mercy toward us hopeless sinners which produces obediance to God from our hearts. He puts a fire in our belly and rivers of living water in our mouth!!

Amazingly, it would appear that the year 2014 is stirring us to new heights. The Body seems, in corporate fashion, to be searching for the specific parts it is ‘called’ to be connected to. It is as if we individually are searching for those other Divine connections, with knowledge of the vitality and function/destiny that comes when the connection is made. The groaning creation is soon to see a manifestation – one that has been in the making for many years.

Good analogy. I see the problem of the church walking around headless. Man does things his way and then wants God to bless it rather than partaking of what God is doing and glorifying Him. Jesus is our Head and you are absolutely correct, we are the Body of Christ and what we do is determined by the Head. The church is Headless and needs medical-no spiritual help and attention. It is encouraging tho to know there is a people that are having spiritual awakenings to what Church/the Ekklesia truly is.
