Truth is awesome and oh so revealing when allowed to enter the heart and mind. Years ago I prayed continually not to be deceived and my prayers have been graciously answered again and again. You said it comes progressively and I have seen that to be true. His revealing truth has changed my life so completely. It can be very lonely at times but I think of what was stated in Hebrews 11:13,15 about being strangers and pilgrims in the earth and truly if they had been mindful of that ‘country’ (system) they came out, they might have had opportunity to return. They did not.

Thank you. I’m going to note it to remember so to monitor and react properly when shocking truths appear to me…

But on reflection, it’s still sad to see that we can not realize our refusal of Truth or difficult consequences and changes it would bring to our lives. May God help us.

But I’m glad to know that after this will become less painful… 🙂

An old friend of mine used to quote the scripture “buy the truth and sell it not”. He would say that if we are offered Truth and aren’t prepared to pay the price fore it then each time we come back to the market the price is higher. The price of we have to pay is usually measured in pride! If we refuse Truth at that price then our pride increases and consequently Truth costs more next time we are brought to the market place!
I’ve found this to be true.

The Truth can hurt but then the Truth will set you free. This is true on a spiritual level and a practical level with every day living. We also cannot be critical of people when they confront us of our wrong doing, in order for us to repent and do better. We at times can get defensive when people bring our wrongs to the surface. When we know these people care about our wellbeing we might should stop and listen to see if what they say line’s up with the Truth of Christ, and most likely it will. If we won’t listen to Christ, He may very well put others in place to reveal His Truth to us before we self destruct.

Oh how I love this and it is so true that we only can accept a bit of truth at a time!! I is amazing how God knows how and when to reveal to us truth in His way!!

Thank you. This seriously helped me just BREATHE this morning and relax. Speaking to myself: don’t reject what you’ve seen… don’t go back to what you were living & doing before even though that way is easier in the short term. Breathe and move forward. Receive what He has shown even though it makes you feel uncomfortable and against the tide and outside and even quite lonely. Be uncomfortable if you have to….. but don’t reject what He has shown you……and don’t carry that burden, you weren’t meant to carry. Feel it, let Him carry it. Move forward.
