Jesus goes as far as to say that we should hate our lives. Someone who has seen, with his heart, the evil in himself and in the world, and who has witnessed terrible sufferings and has perhaps tasted suffering himself, can’t wait to go home to be with Jesus. Our Self is closely related to Adam, who brought us death, whereas Jesus alone is Life. (Rom.5:18) So many are working hard to create their heaven here on earth, forever trying to satisfy the desires of Self. They do not realize that we were not created to live For something, but rather In Someone.

When I accepted Jesus Christ in my life, It’s no longer I who live but Christ. It means we have to live by His Word. Our ways must be aligned with His Word. We must live a holy life. Glory to God!
