As we submit ourselves to the Cross ….this is my/our part (which I of course do with His strength in Christ)….
God does not turn us into unthinking, unfeeling creatures of wood or stone; instead, He renews and transforms our mind so that our thoughts reflect His thoughts, and our mind reflects His mind….His Part…..Well received @Bro. Chip

The mind of Christ is ours! How we must learn to stop thinking like the world, and start to think like Him. We can’t even BEGIN to do that until we get HIS HEART, HIS MIND….HIS WORDS into us, written on the tablets of our hearts and minds, so that we begin to see the world from GOD’S perspective, not fallen man’s. The Holy Spirit cannot bring to mind His thoughts and words unless we know WHAT they are….

2 Corinthians 2:16 (NIV) for, who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

If we have His mind and we have His word and we have communication with Him as He speaks to us then the breakdown must be in our willingness to bear the Cross of Christ and die to what we want or believe to be truth.

This is the only way we will see Truth for what It truly is. We will see all things through Gods eyes, not our own. This is how we know we are being transformed into the image of Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 the apostle teaches:
“But the NATURAL man does not receive [discern] the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; NOR CAN HE KNOW THEM [he is incapable of knowing them], because they are SPIRITUALLY discerned.

But he who is SPIRITUAL judges [discerns] all things, yet he himself is rightly judged [understood] by no one. For ‘who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?’ BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.”

In John 17:3 Jesus says:
“And THIS IS Eternal Life, that they may KNOW YOU, the only true God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent.”
