I've been thinking and meditating on this thought for several days. This morning I was thinking about the verse in Colossians that says we're complete in Him. Complete means we don't lack anything. Glorious thought.
Do you believe there is a time when God takes us to another level of relationship and understanding because of our submission and growth? Can we reach the Holy City now? Abraham sought a city not built with hands. He saw that day.

Chip. I love your teaching. Whom shall I fear raises a question. When I have submitted myself to the Lord then I get the benefits in due time. If I have humbled myself under the mighty hand of God so that in due time he can exalt me (us)-casting all our cares upon Him for He cares for us.That question. How do we know that we have fully submitted ourselves (use me as an example) to the Lord? I am a person-typical of many-who was part of a reasonably large family-with farming in our blood-who has been taught to be responsible and DO THINGS. I have learned to be a do-er and I studied and became a pharmacist and for 45 years in Oz and NZ I was the owner managing partner. I am married to Jan and we have had seven children and many grandies. Please -I am not trying to promote myself-only to show you and others that many people have similar stories to tell. I consider it quite normal to have to deal with the pressures of family and vocation. SO is it surprising that many of us are searching for clarity about our responsibilities at home and accepting the benefits of being submitted to God.Your thoughts in time would help us (Jan and Rog married for 50 years).
