Worldliness begins in the mind. A person could live in a cabin in the woods 100 miles from civilization with nothing but the basics and yet be worldly. Everything begins with the transformation of the mind. Repentance means we change our mind about something. Christ wants to transform our minds. It doesn’t mean we can’t have things, just that things can’t have us.

Sheryl, how quickly do we forget who we are in Christ.Through the power of Gods Spirit and the Blood of the Lamb our enemies have to cease.Praise the Lord that we have the ability to cast out deamon's.We just don't exersize what is rightfully our's,due to fear and unbelief."We can believe", We are all thing's through Christ that strengthens us!!The power of the church has got to stand firm against the enemy!Bless you again for reminding me of the power of God within us.

This is the hardest thing for us to give up,”Our Life”.We want to enjoy this life and all it’s benefits.This is a daily struggle for most.
We want the career,the ideal location to live,the ideal house,car,enough money to live,talented children,the list goes on and on.Most of us cannot understand,”are we receiving the material and other blessing’s from God or are we creating our own life and what we want the outcome to be”?This is something I myself have struggled with.I see those in church fellowship living and acting worldly and they say because of obedience they have been given the finer things in life by God.Where do we seperate from the world and the lust of it and still try to live in it.Outside basic needs where does worldliness start?Thanks for your reply

Yesterday, I looked out my door. There was a stray dog in my flowers chewing. I said, “hey, get out of here!” The dog looked at me with defiance and went back to chewing. So, I then starting barking at the dog like a big dog would do. Once again the dog looked up at me and then proceeded back to chewing. I am a dog lover and would never hurt such…but I was about to throw a shoe or something over to him to leave my garden. I heard the voice of GOD so clearly within. The Holy Spirit said to me, “ask the dog to leave in “JESUS” name”. When I did the dog immediately responded, immediately. The dog began to walk across the street and never looked back at me. I then heard the Holy Spirit say, now do that with everything in your life! ” ( I have been crucified with Christ) It is no longer I who live, but HE that lives in me”. Galations 2:19-20 I choose to die daily that HE may live!
