This is such a very true statement and one I have tried to get across to those in the church that says all there material wealth is their blessings from God and they will do all they can to keep their material blessings by doing A ,B and C. Nothing spiritual is as important as earthly blessing to the carnal mind. It’s about health and wealth to most instead of a Spiritual Awakening that cannot be explained other than a Miracle that only God can give through the power of His Spirit.

Hi, I’m one of those people who always thought that the new Jerusalem would be a physical thing, mainly because of the decription in Rev. 21:10-27 So much detail was given about the exact dimentions of the city and there is even a place where John mentions that the angel used a standard human measure! I would love to understand more about this. By the way, I find it very interesting that it was just yesterday that I was talking to someone about this exact subject! Why am I not surprised?

Well said, Chip. Most Christians I know think there will be a physical location with an earthly capital in Jerusalem. I think this applies to natural minds, thinking of things in the natural or physical when we need to think spiritually and apply things in the spiritual.
It is awesome when we can see these things spiritually and understand that nothing in the flesh or nothing in the natural or earthly are going to be solutions. Jesus said His Kingdom was not something observed but within us.
