Christ is rightousness, holiness, He is our everything and His is our all in all. If we are in Christ and He is in us, we have all his attributes. Christ is our life and without Him nothing exists. Thank you brother Chip for sharing Ephesians 4:24 with us.

How true this is.We can do nothing without Christ working in us His righteousness first and the rest will follow.This is definetly not a works for righteousness or something we have to do to keep our salvation.I see so many people work so hard to try and stay in good favor with God,from all the church activities, to the building for the next generation ‘BUILDING FUND”,to putting up everything they have to keep the building going and salaries paid as a form of worship and gaining eternal treasure that’s taught.I still am puzzled on why these thing’s are taught.

Yes, when this sunk into my being that ‘God is’, not ‘has’ what a difference it made in my understanding of ‘Who He is.’ God is everything and it is Him w/in us that lives through us as I have no life unless it is His Life. I can only become His character and nature to the degree that God Himself is filled/worked into my life as I surrender all.

You are so right, when I first got saved I trusted in what Jesus had done for me. Then the church bombarded me with all the things I had to DO. You could say I was buried under a pile of do do. Now He is my everything and l draw my life from Him. Its all about being. Andrew
