I loved that message, I never really thought it was a matter in my life, but when I read it again and again, I realized that it is as true today as it was in the old testmanet,
I need to pour the oil out more, praise the Lord, thank you Chip

Good morning Chip,

Thank you for reminding me that there is no need or problem too big in my life that God cannot meet if I trust and obey Him. Jesus said to" look at the birds of the air and that they do not sow or reap or gather in barns yet our heavenly Father feeds them." He asks "our we not worth even more?" We can't add a single cubit to our life span by being anxious. Our needs are always known by the Father.

The widow was told to go borrow 'empty vessels.' God can't put something into a full vessel w/o at least emptying the vessel first. God fills empty vessels and only stops when no more to fill. The widow was willing to use her vessel and pour it forth. I have found in my own life when I am hurting whether financially and I give to someone in need, I seem to receive. If I am down or depressed and I reach out to someone I forget I was down. I f I am short on food and know someone is also lacking, if I share it seems my supply always becomes greater. There is no lack of supply with the Lord. This should also be observed with when the Lord gives us spiritual light. When God fills us with His Word and revelation we need to pour it out to others.... not sharing, God will stop filling us because our vessels our meant to be emptied-filled and poured out. Thank you for pouring out to me and others. Lord make me a willing vessel.
