First of all, I realize that I have integrated many teachings and beliefs that seem to be false… more than I thought.

Really, thank you very much for these writings which give me food for thought to “straighten the bar”, and will reassure me on some things.

For example:

Stop trying to do things to have a better revelation of Christ… But just ask for God’s grace.

To know that the revelation of the Lord is not made more specifically, more “easily”, when one is gathered together with many.

One of our biggest problems is because of our culture causes us to keep looking for events or situations that appease our carnal nature and does not feed our spiritual being. Nothing wrong with a “mountain top experience”, but we cannot keep looking for just that alone.

When Jesus and the three came down off the mount of transfiguration Jesus made a very profound statement that I believe that we often fail to see the significance of, but is all part of the plan. Jesus told them that they had to go to Jerusalem, (imperative). What was in Jerusalem? A CROSS!! This cross was all part of God’s eternal plan, very painful for Jesus, but very beneficial (life changing for those who will believe and receive it.

All too often we “think” that God needs our help in solving the problems at hand, instead we need to listen to what He has already put into motion, (from the foundation of the earth) and be obedient to His word.

Gods word is always rich with truth and cuts to core of ones soul. I have been out of the religious system for 3yrs., but was still looking for fellowship with like minded believers. I was even going to move to another state just to have that fellowship. I went to visit this state the beginning of the month June 2010 to see if it was the Lords will, even though deep down I knew it wasn’t. The minute I entered that state the anger of the Lord came upon me. I became stubborn and tried to keep a self centered positive attitude.

How Good the Lord is the people I wanted to fellowship with did not even contact me when I tried to reach them for the whole week I was in this state. Then closer to the time for me to leave. A hatred for the state came upon me. It is a beautiful place, so don’t get me wrong. Gods creation is breath taking visually and the Lord allowed me to enjoy the time there.

I hated that I gave up on Christ will for me and was trying to run like Jonah. I was sitting in a McDonalds and the Lord revealed himself and all I could do is repent. I thank God no one came up to me and asked if I was ok, because of the tears flowing down my face. I would have given them such a testimony if they were saved or not on how the Lord corrects his children.

I do not always want to be this way, but I am a slow learner and can be very stubborn, but Father God do not play when it comes to his Precious Beloved Son our Lord and Savior. Who rules and reign in and through my worthless life. I will tell you one of the main reasons I was running from the Lord. I did not want to learn of Him on the internet. This is so hard for me talking to people on the computer without seeing, touching, or hugging them when you need a shoulder to lean on. I have been in the medical field and church for many years ( I no longer do either) and I am just so use to people contact and people pleasing, that when the Lord ask me learn of him through The School of Christ on the internet I did not want to do it. Well guess who won that battle, Christ always get the Glory from my worthless life. I am nothing and He is everything to me. When I am week he is strong and His ways are nothing like my ways. I thank the Lord for breaking down these walls that do not please him and rebuild my dead life for his Glory. Looking forward to the disciple training.
