Hello guys,
I the simplicity in Christ Jesus! How hard we make it to receive Salvation...an experience...a feeling...a teaching...Such rubbish that causes sushi waste of time "wondering" am I or am I not saved....We need to Nail it from time to time...just to keep it all fresh.
I think that may have been in Jesus thoughts for the last Supper...to keep it fresh in remembrance.

I struggle with the truth of the notion "that there is nothing good in me." If I am a creation of God, and God is good, then how can it be that there is nothing good in me. I'm not so sure that that is truth. Of course we sin and fall short every day. God's grace is available for us on a daily basis, and I am not saying that we have a license to sin, just the ability to recognize my sins and then ask God for forgiveness, but I am His creation with a soul and connected to The Holy Spirit, so how can I have "nothing good in me" if God is in me?

Beautiful! I like this illustration of a drowning man..I think its awesome.

"When Jesus accepts you then you are saved. A drowning man is at the mercy of his rescuers; if he wants to live he does not have the option of “accepting” their kindness. He ought to rather thank God that someone has accepted the challenge of saving him! All that is left to say is: “I’m yours! Come and get me! I surrender!” Jesus does not say, “Accept Me,” He says, “Follow Me.”

Thank you Chip & Karla

This is truly an answer to prayer. I have been wondering about the so called ‘sinners prayer’ and the people who believe they are saved after praying it. It appears that many of these people are not saved. What would I say if someone asked me about salvation? I hope I would say the words that Jesus gives me. This gives me the steps.
1)	A deep understanding of Self: that there is nothing good in me.
2)	A genuine revelation of Christ:
3)	An absolute surrender:
So many people have accepted Him but that is back the front. “It really is not a matter of accepting Him. He is Lord whether you accept Him or not; to be His disciple, He must accept you. “Thank you, Chip
