“To the natural man this makes no since”. So very true. Pride is an obvious thing but weakness is a sacrifice of self. Every time I think I can get ahead and do things on my own, the Lord is front and center keeping me humble and dependent on Him. This is not a comfortable or wanted place to be at times because the flesh has to be crucified daily. We can never think of what is going to happen tomorrow or next week because if any of us has been with Christ long enough we know that most of the time things change without notice!

Brother Chip, the scripture is so right that in our weakness we are strong and this does not make sense to man unless we become like Paul did and accept that it takes God to give us the strength that is really important in this earthly life. Samson was a very strong person, by his own strength, but when it left him, he became aware of how weak he was unless he followed and kept God’s word. His Word we can stand on, be strong and win the battle or rather win the war over what we face here in our life on earth.Praise God for His Strength and that He is ready, always there for us to provide the strength we need.

One of Satan’s favorite ploys is to tell us when God commands us to speak to someone, or to do something that may terrify us. how disastrous it will be for us if we do what God commanded us to do! He will tempt us to disobey for fear of failure, fear of man’s tongue, or even physical violence, or for fear of “looking foolish”. Father waits to see whether we will listen to his lies, or not. I KNOW that I KNOW that EVERY time I step out in my weakness, in fear and trembling, to obey my LORD, He strengthens, enables me, and gives me victory over MY weakness and inability. And when I DO, the storm clouds of Satan’s lies dissipate! Jesus IS my strength….and God is my peace. Joy floods my heart kn thankfulness to God for His enabling me to obey and giving me the victory in Jesus!
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” (Psalm 91:1-3) ….He IS the Wind beneath my wings, and He WILL be glorified in me as I trust in Him!
