In reply to Randy. Randy, I understand. Mary and Lyn give great answers, pointing for you to turn to Jesus. It is the same for all of us. we are all in the same boat, sinners, who need the Saviour to forgive us and enter and lead our lives, to transform us, which only he through God's Spirit can do as we put our faith in him. That's where it is at, our implicit faith in Jesus and his word, which the Father gave him to teach us, to be renewed and restored as blessed children of God. How good and gracious is our loving God. He deserves all the praise and worship. Thank you Jesus!

In reply to Timothy B. It’s not self evident to me. Actually, it’s challenging and I rely heavily on Scripture even when it’s used against me. This message is extremely important. I want the freedom to express my heart and I do but I realize that often times my flesh stands in the way of what Jesus would have me say or do. I don’t always hear His voice and yes, it’s confusing. But, many of our dear brothers and sisters are still in dark places and are still fighting to hear Jesus and follow in the simplicity that brother Chip teaches from God’s word. I long to know my brothers and sisters...

How do we know who we are? In Jesus’s lesson it’s clear that whoever does the will of the Father is considered His brother, sister or mother in a greater manner than an earthly one. ….what is the Fathers will?

Luke 9:35 Then a voice came out of the cloud and said, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; continue to listen to Him!”

If we are doing the will of the Father we are continuing to listen and do what our Father says….in obedience to the Father we are to hear Jesus and follow Him.

Thank you Chip for this very good message, you are absolutely correct. I feel sad that all my former church members are drowning because of the doctrines of men authenticated in all the churches worldwide. The deception is very grave. They are manipulated to be faithful to the Church and fully listen to their pastors as if the pastor knows everything. As such they will never wake up from their blindness. We are to be faithful to do all the Word of God but Not the church organization as you have taught here. Some are false brothers and some are lost sheep being led astray by the churches and I could do nothing about it. The church (false pastor) is quick to label anyone who argue with it’s doctrine as a heretic. The present day churches are in control and we can do nothing about it. Perhaps some or very few will be set freed from the traps of the church system. Seems only few will be saved as many in the churches worldwide being misled shall perish walking into the wide gate that leads to death.

Even more understanding with the re-reading of this text.

I think I saw that there was no real teaching in the churches to learn to grow in the Lord and to do His Will … So the new spiritual babies remain with their sufferings, their … anger … and always act as the model observed among other Christians … their own thoughts and ideas, actions judged righteous, desires … with which everybody is persuaded that God is in agreement with…
So, when I see that they do not do the Will of God … I wonder … are they all false brothers and sisters?

Who is my brother or sister? Very difficult to know in this end time church, when it is the love for materials that is stronger than the love for the brethren. When you have the means, people tend to love you but when you are going through hard time, you lost all dignity even among brethren. Your write up has opened my eyes to see more light. It was so good for me to see my post here, and to be reminded of the “True” from the “False” Brothers and Sisters. I was at that point today, where I was wondering who ‘really IS’ my Brother or Sister? Then, your message came to me to remind me of that truth that had once come to me previously. I have seen with my own “eyes opened”, how those who cling to ‘an organized way’ of meeting and worshiping God, often mistake the “Church agenda/format” or “the Building” for being the very thing that Jesus Christ takes pleasure in! I too, struggled with the ‘others’ who were labelled as “Cultists” because they didn’t “fix in” with the Orthodox Definition of what is considered “sound doctrinal teaching”. But now I see that most all Christian Churches could likely fall into that category of being “Cults”, in one sense or another. This is because they are all drawing upon their own ways and means of ‘holding on to’ their own members. Some use exclusionary methods to shun those who do not think, say, or do as what they do. I say this not to condemn them, but to show how Jesus did NOT come to set up ‘their form’ of religious indoctrination! God help us to see that the faith of the true believers will “come down” from God out of Heaven, and will not be “of this world”. Amen
