Eve was deceived when tempted by the serpent.
Adam was not deceived when tempted by Eve.
Adam knew exactly what he was doing because
he was “called” to die so his wife and he would
remain together to fulfill their Creator’s command
to populate the earth.

Just as Jesus knew what He was doing when He gave His body’s life for the ekklesia,
Adam knew what he was doing when He gave his body’s life for his wife.
Just as Jesus knew He would be resurrected from the death,
Adam also knew he would be resurrected from death.

Adam, who was created by the Son, through the Son, for the Son,
And in the Son’s Image, knew, loved and obeyed his Creator.
Adam did exactly what was expected of him to preserve his Kind.

An interesting thought – God wanted something but Adam’s will was stronger and so he defeated His purpose? What could Adam know about death? There was none in Eden, and he never wanted for anything….he didn”t know anything!. Notice that he never praised God, or thanked Him.
God did NOT have a “Plan B” No, all went according to HIS plan.
Interesting that your post the next day had this scripture: “The Most High rules in the kingdoms of men.”

Yes, He always has, and always will. PTL that HE is God, and man is not .

Yes Jesus has always been even as the Father has always been even before Adam. Adam was to be an example of Christ on earth because he was created in their image, but Adam chose another way indeed, which separated him from the fullness of Christ. All through the very beginning, God included Jesus in all things because He and the Father are One even with creation of all things. He was made known as a Spiritual being with numerous metaphors from the beginning of time and all through the Old Testament. Genesis 1v26. God said Let US make people in OUR image, to be like OURSELVES. They will be masters over all life including, the fish, birds, livestock and wild animals.

Dear Chip,
I listened to today’s podcast and ….I was missing something : )…
This is what the Lord has been showing me: HE is LOVE !! “Because He loved us FIRST…”
only because of that we are able to love. And I can see this LOVE (for the Lord Jesus and for other people) in the works i am doing in OBEDIENCE to the Lord JESUS !!! Because simply they are HIS WORKS in His great and unconditional LOVE for us and all people.
Without Jesus we can not do one thing – we also can not love….
