However Paul was already of Theology. He had studied with the best and memorized all five books of the Torah word for word. He had that background with which to judge the vision. It would have been impossible for Satan to have fooled Paul by giving him a false vision. Most of us are easier to fool than was Paul. Considering that Islam, Mormonism and Seventh Day Adventism were all started by people who had visions of Angels who gave them a "Special Revelation", it might be good to run your vision by a couple of solid Christians before you publish a book...

Amen! Pastors have been teaching the congregation to go to them first before one goes out. Like when the disciples wanted to stop someone from baptizing who wasn't a part of 'their group', but Jesus said to leave that one alone, for that person was for Him and not against Him. Pastors seem to think that these ones are against them, against their authority, when they are insecure and not led by the Spirit, but only binding the sheep into a pen as if their own; and those sheep are starving, malnourished.
I refuse to be of such, and do move forward with the Lord. I may be an outcast to organized religion, but that is okay! I would rather be free in Christ than bound to a man or religious practices.
Oh, how the body of Christ needs to be set free! To no longer be bound in death rags like Lazarus! Oh, Lord, set the captives free!

Thank you, Chip, for that confirmation of what I have believed for years! We have created this "system" that requires people to be "credentialed".....now you can't even get a job, regardless of your expertise, experience and knowledge - without a university degree. I have known beloved Christian brethren who have the heart and mind of Christ, live intimately close to Him, and have revelation on spiritual revelation that they have shared that can only have been from God. I likewise have had so much revelation of and from Him that has left me perplexed as to WHY the church has this unbending belief that the Holy Spirit ONLY leads and guides, and reveals Christ to those who have a doctorate in theology. Peter and Paul never did. Peter was a simple fisherman who could NEVER have been what he became except he was led by the Spirit and filled with the Truth of Jesus Christ - not book learning, but REVELATION! We are to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth!
God kept me out of the church after Jesus revealed Himself in all His wonderful fullness way back in 91, and I was with Him alone for 7 years before God told me to join a group of local Christians......I thank God for that, because my revelation, my understanding and knowledge of Him came STRAIGHT from Him, through scripture, prayer, spending every day simply in His presence.....it was not warped or tainted, or bent in any way by human opinion or doctrine.....it was simply and purely ALL HIM, and HE was my Teacher. I had need of no other! It was an AWESOME time I will treasure for the remainder of my days here. I was SO blessed. Thank You dear Abba Father! Thank YOU! - all glory and praise is Yours alone. Bless Your wonderful, holy name!
