In reply to <a href="https://theschoolofchrist.org/october17#comment-5625">Mitch.</a>.

Dear Mitch,
True, that sight (a physical sensory faculty) is not an ingredient for faith, yet faith is also defined by the 'evidence' of things unseen! I believe this evidence is the revelation of Christ that is bestowed on individual believers. 'Substance' and 'Evidence' - both solid spiritual realities. This sets true faith apart from blind faith based on hearsay (flesh and blood) that feeds self-seeking motivations. A revelation of the Son by the Father and revelation of the Father by the Son (to those weary and heavy laden) causes the renewing of minds and an ever decreasing of Self. The 'experience' is real although sight is not involved in that process. All in all I'm convinced these are solid evidences that grows a believer's faith.

Amen! We have to believe in Jesus though we haven't seen Him yet because of our faith. Through His Word we worship Him in spirit and in truth. We must always have a believing heart because God will bless us in all the areas of our lives. Glory to God!
