I have a question for à long time. I observed that the feeling of love in my heart led me to do some things I would not have had the strength to do without this "lever". Obstacles and difficulties to overcomehave exhausted me before reaching the goal.

But my question is: Sometimes this feeling of love disappears. Does that mean that love is not there too ...?
And especially how to act without this "lever", that feeling of overflowing love which God himself is sometimes the obvious author?

Because I have observed that when disappears, I do not have this supernatural force that allows me to act like I know I should. Although I know that Christ in me should help me in some way fortifying me.

There is so much "meat" in that verse. Especially when we think of Mary's past and Jesus casting 7 demons out of her. I am sure at times she might have been a handful for Martha to deal with. I have wondered what Lazarus had to deal with having 2 unmarried sisters to take care of--and one demon possessed.
Mary must not have been a very domesticated female before her conversion! Martha surely expected "more" out of Mary now she was "free"--to line-up with the culture and tradition of the day for women. Jesus had liberated them both. It took Martha a bit longer to adapt to that liberation.
For Martha it was "business as usual". For Mary it was something entirely new. She left all her baggage behind.
Sometimes our expectations of people do not line up with God's expectation of them.
Just a thought.
