No one can bring on a revelation and no true child of God has more of a revelation than another. The revelation of Jesus Christ is given to a willing and open heart that the Father knows is ready. It doesn’t matter how much you know, how many scriptures you’ve memorized or who teaches you. It’s between your heart and the Father. The Father knows the heart because Christ was allowed to choose and bring you to the Father – Matt. 11:27. You can receive just as much knowledge and wisdom if once you have Christ, you listen and ask through the Holy Spirit. The Word will be with in you. We mistaken the Word to be the paper and words, but the Word is Christ. He resides in us, not outside of us to be put on, not to be invited in each day – He’s permanent. I’m not trying to sound harsh, but the Lord has shown to me that we’re still walking around Him, scared to admit the truth of the revelation we’re givien. Carnal Christians think we sound radical, many non-Chrstians think we’re wierd. Probably because we’re trying to teach someone the Spirit hasn’t led us to and our words are awkward and our own. We don’t need to be a substitute for the Lord’s teachings – that’s why He lives in us. We can’t cast our pearls before swine. The revealed to Christian will be told by the Spirit who to approach and what to say. He never leave us to our own words. My prayer for my brothers and sisters is growth in His wisdom and knowledge from with in and that the Spirit guide and direct your paths.

In reply to sherry. I concur with Cathy. I had this revelation early in my walk when every step I took required that I depend upon Him. People commented again and again about the life of Christ in me. In recent years, I've lost that...Thank you for such a well-timed revelation.

Chip, good word!

Only when God unveils His sovereignty do we find rest. It is all Him and we can do nothing to save ourselves for the creature was made in frustration and futility.

Thus, we judge no man after the flesh knowing God would have all men to be saved, each in his own order. I delight to see the day when every knee has bowed and God is All In All!

In reply to Chip Brogden. Rim...this is correct no man can put on Christ at his will. For God tells us to wait on the LORD which means to remain inactive until Christ makes your enemies your footstool or wait till the LORD will empower your heart or inner man. It is also written that after the LORD has done this you can search out where the wicked once resided and will not be able to find it. Most people do not know this because it is learned through experience. Knowledge blinds people to Christ it is by Grace that we receive Mercy and the Love of Grace brings us the understanding we need to "know" Christ (put him on)we all must first have the testimony of Jesus in order for the scriptures to make sense. Delight ourselves in the LORD!

That depends on whether you are referring to someone who is born of God’s Spirit or one who is not.
Because it is not for anyone to put on Christ, since only those whom the Father draws to Christ ( and are born anew) can put on Christ. it is impossible for the unconverted to please God. However, once we are converted, we receive a new, different Spirit, the Holy Spirit that translates us out of the kingdom of darkness and In to the Kingdom of Christ; which allows us then to keep all the ” righteous requirements of the law” as we are obedient to the Spirit God has given us. But even for believers, this is not possible without taking up our daily cross of Christ, and abiding in the vine. Brother, that is a daily choice! A daily crucifixion to the world, flesh and devil. Remember: We can do NOTHING without abiding in Christ! John 15, Romans.

Thanks a lot to our Lord for having revealed those marvellous secrets to our Brother Chip Brogden!
But I have a worry:Since it is to anyone to put on himself CHRIST(for it is not God’s duty to put on CHRIST on us),how should anyone manage to fulfil the word of Ephesians 4:22-24 ?
