In reply to Joanie. Amen. I was also filled with "HIS peace beyond understanding" when my 16 yr old son had an accident that ruptured his spleen and was in surgery for 4 hrs. I cried to God for his life and felt this indescribable peace fill me up. It definitely wasn't from me but I knew w/o a doubt that all would go well and it did. Praise the Lord o my soul. Blessings to you. Thanks for sharing.

I think you are right if you look at his conclusion:
“We must ask God for revelation into His Son. Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself to us as All in All. Illuminate our hearts to see you. Bring us into the full-knowledge of Yourself. No matter our feelings or experiences to the contrary, we acknowledge that we are complete in You. You do all things well! Teach us to look away from all that pertains to man and to see You as You really are. Thank you Father for the Gift of Christ! Amen.”

It is amazing to see that most christians don’t realize if you have Christ in you and you live by His life, you can’t be part of the religious system because Christ living in you will never accept to be entangled in a system He doesn’t approuve. This is why He is outside the camp and knocking the door…

Thank you brother Chip for this great message, Jesus Christ is the greatest gift from God.
I have experienced His wonderful works in my life when I was a novice. It was only after I had prayed I only wanted Him and nothing else as I surrendered my life to Him. Though there were many miracles happening when I minister to people but yet I was misled by the winds of doctrines by the false prophets which have for many years deceived me and many in the churches worldwide. I think it is very important that we be very careful that we must have both Christ and the right doctrine for I know that it is another spirit that dwells in some who claims to have Christ. They think they have Christ dwelling in them because they believe Him but in their life they transgressed against the doctrine of Christ. This I found out after years of testing many believers throughout my ministry.
2 John 1: 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
There are much more false doctrines besides the Catholic Mass Holy Communion,Trinity, Law and Legalism, etc. than we imagined and I am constantly seeking for Truth so that I may abide in the doctrine of Christ for if we seek, we will find. Praise God.

Chip – I liked your comment, “The solution is not to look at one’s self at all, but to look away to Christ” but I’ve found even easier than that is just to recon myself dead — shut it all down to dead, crucified – no understanding to lean on or consider at all – just dead —- then let Jesus our Lord rule our circumstances and itinerary in our day. To look away to Christ – even that is work – too hard for the flesh to do.
“For we are dead and our life is hid with Christ in God” “We are seated in the heavenlies already” so now our sacrifice is to give up our life as you said an exchange to let Him live in us. It’s way easier and that is when we don’t screw up because a dead man cannot sin. Amen !!! Christ in us the hope of glory!

Amen! Jesus Christ is the greatest gift of all which nothing can compared with. We’re so lucky having Him in this world of adversities. We must enjoy what God has given us, Jesus being with us not only during Christmas but through the years in our life as long as we’re here on earth. Glory to God!
