Many years ago I heard a very good Bible teacher minister on this subject and it helped me immensely. For some people their sphere may be global, for others it may only be with in their local neighborhood, for others it may be somewhere between. Whatever the case, when you determine what your sphere is there is a freedom that you will encounter and you will become content doing what needs to be done within that sphere. As Chip has said so well in this article, more of Jesus and less of us. I can’t effectively function as a medical missionary, but I can share the reality of Jesus to a rough and tumble guy in a truck stop who is battling life threatening cancer by simply being his friend.
