“Well … I “let go” always more or less at times…
but in the end, I’m still alive, by miracle… {well… still rather survival …} but I am still “here” ?

I’m here for the first time and this really lifted up my spirit. I was so down. Although I’ve experienced His abundance in my life especially when I was unemployed and had not much money. The most amazing moments were when the Foodbank asked me to help and I thought I had not much money on my account. I only had a fiver in my wallet. I thought I couldn’t help. But then I told the Lord: what if it’s about a single mum with kids and it’s almost christmas and she can’t give her kids proper food?
So I did get something together so the people could make a great meal. And I did also get my own groceries. I didn’t care anymore if I would get in debt. But when I wanted to pay it all the lady said it was five. I asked her if she was correct and didn’t make a mistake? She said she wasn’t. I was blown away. I thought: wow, God will provide so I can help others.
After that I could help again and after that God did give me provision. It is true through our weaknesses His Glory is revealed. My prayer has always been Lord your will be done in my life. Also for my job. And now I have a new job and I’m blown again by this move from God. Ever since I’m there they are changing towards God. First they were agains Him and now they are opening up. I’m not sure what He wants me to do but all I do is pray and be honest.

I try and try and try to fix everything for everybody instead of waiting. Instead of listening. Then I listen and most of the time it does feel like the Lord uses it. Then there is that time when it doesn’t. Those are the times I become weary, tired, irritated and want to quit. It’s the times I do not want to wait, but do it my way.
So as I listen and wait I appreciate that I can ask him and leave it to him.
Then I can become excited to see what He will do!

It was a wonderful book and I have kept it as precious. There is one thing I remember from the book and I will never forget. I don’t remember the context but the author made a statement about the children of Israel…That God did not lead them through the wilderness because He had to find out what was in them. He already knew no… He wanted them to know what was in themselves.
It is an eye opener to find out what is in us during times of sudden or prolonged stress
