I became frustrated and stopped trying, not stopped believing. Until years later the Holy Spirit started showing me that it was Christ and Him crucified, not only for my salvation, but also for my Christian way of living! Jesus is the gate and the cross is the path. He continues to teach me how it really is and your teachings have been very helpfull! Thank-you!

This has happened to me many times and I am sure…positive that this has also happened to others. The closer I move to HIM, the less I care about this earthly stuff. I told my daughter as a way to help her understand when I say that I am not interested in an IPhone, high priced computers, etc. is that I know think of “life” beyond our senses. I have exactly what I am want and not alot of stuff but I take care of what I do have so as to NOT have to buy stuff. I have fallen countless times and He has been faithful EVERY time and it just amazes me that He could love somebody like me who has messed up SO many times I can’t keep count anymore! In my youth, I use to take pride in my independence but thinking back, sure I was independence for a time and then fell. Fell HARD. I FINALLY got it through my thick, prideful head…(lol) I lean on My Father now. I lean into Him and I feel loved, safe, cared for and wanted…:) Thank you very much for this post and I am definitely reading more and look forward to your future postings! God Bless you!
