Dear beloved`s,

I think we are already reaping. Living inside a loving relationship with Father is reward enough. It doesn’t matter who else doesn’t see it now. It is for us to live in that reality and equip others who want to as well. By that all God needs done will be done. When I was a pastor I got lured in to trying to convince people who weren’t seeing his reality rather than equip those who were. I spent so much time focused on the people who were getting it wrong or trying to stop people from sinning, and all it did was frustrate people. And I was ignoring the hungry hearts that didn’t need the attention. Yet they were the ones God wanted me to encourage.

I understand know why he told Peter to feed his sheep. Unless an animal wants to eat, you just can’t feed them. Look for the hungry hearts around your life and help them get this. Don’t worry about those who aren’t seeing it yet. We can waste lots of energy trying to convince them, but it won’t work. They will only be convinced when the Lord opens their eyes to his life and grace.

I pray God will pour out his life among us and that we will know the depth of his love and the joy of remaining in that love rather than trying to accomplish in our own strength what only he can do…

I am so glad that my friend introduced me to this course. And I look forward to being part of it.

It is not common to have a teaching that is not theoretical, and I eagerly need to be taught a way to become a disciple, as I have been for so many years a reader but without putting in action what I read.

Thanks for leading us on our path with Jesus.

In reply to Chip Brogden. Also the "assembling" refers to the three times each year God's people were commanded to travel to the place He instructed them to go (the Temple). Passover/Unleavened Bread, Pentacost, and Tabernacles.

Please allow me to say. The Christianity as we see it,and as we know it; is a false religion. The devil working through the man’s flesh has given it such a pereminance that many of us are excessively diffident to say so. Our salvation is in sanctification, as confirmed by Paul the apostle 2Thess.2:13 .When we are set apart by God we are saved. When our spirit becomes one with the Spirit of Christ, we are saved. I had been travelling around in the world to look for you, Chip+Karla and you lived only next door to me. Thank God.

Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, I am learning its never about what we do for the Lord but how much Christ is in us. How much we are willing to lay down our lives (thoughts-books-friends-teaching)and go on with him. The Lord is teaching me just how much we lost in the garden. We lost that oneness with Him. There was no separation between He and Adam. When God breath into Adam His likeness His image it was pure full of the Holyness of God. Thats why we have our Christ to restore us back to our Father.

I have to admit when I first read the word, discipleship, I felt a little weird. It conjured up all the ‘have to’s’ that I have struggled with for years ‘trying’ to be ‘worthy of His calling’. So, discipline being the root word for an undisciplined soul and hearing all the teachings so far has always left me feeling rather worthless and wondering why the Lord would bother with such a person(and this is 30 years in the making!). Then I thought of the twelve disciples and how different in personalities they were. Take Peter, now there’s a rash fellow, and ‘doubting’ Thomas…hmmmm I can relate…I have hope. None of them were walking in perfection either. I know one thing, I love the Lord but I am tired of ‘Christianese’. I am expecting great things from this study as He speaks into my heart,and clears the cobwebs from my mind that have hidden the truth for too many years. Nice to ‘meet’ everyone here.
