14. A History of Division

“Teach these things to faithful people who can teach others.” (2 Tim. 2:2).

While the Spiritual Ideal of the Ekklesia is a growing, thriving community of Christ-followers walking in love towards one another, the Practical Expression is far from perfect. Even so, we can take this Spiritual Ideal and discern in Scripture some basic principles and practices that will bring us closer to this Ideal, without the corrupting influences of Politics, Religion, and Division getting in the way.
