06. The Salvation of Mankind

“Teach these things to faithful people who can teach others.” (2 Tim. 2:2).

The Sixth Essential of a Christ-Centered Faith is the Salvation of Mankind. “Salvation” is more than the forgiveness of sin. It means to restore the broken relationship between God and mankind so we can know Him as He is. To save us from Sin: its penalty, its power, and its presence. To save us from Self: our own lusts and desires. And, to save us from satan and break his power over us. Ultimately, it is to eliminate the Old: Death, Sorrow, Crying, and Pain. This is a full and complete deliverance and it is a work in progress.
