04. Platitudes vs. Principles

“Not I, but Christ.” (Gal. 2:20).

A platitude is a high-sounding notion of how things “should” be. A platitude without power is just pontification without practical application. A principle is grounded in what we believe and how we behave, no matter what. The power is in the principle put into practice. How can we take “not I, but Christ” from a platitude to a principle?
