“Not I, But Christ” is not just the secret to the Christian life, it is the wisdom that explains all Truth and Reality about Life. “Not I” contradicts all the world’s notions of of Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence, everything we’ve been taught about what it takes to be happy, healthy, wealthy, and successful; “But Christ” transcends both. Jesus did not say that you can do anything with positive thinking, but that without Him you can do nothing! And that is the counterintuitive wisdom that empowers us to then “do all things through Christ Who strengthens us.”
