05. Power Perfected in Weakness

“Not I, but Christ.” (Gal. 2:20).

The problem is not your weakness. The problem is your inability to see your weakness and your subsequent refusal to acknowledge your weakness – not just in in prayer, but in every area of life. This is the essence of Self wrapped in a mantle of Pride. But when we let go of the need to be strong and we go to God in weakness, we are at last being adjusted to Reality instead of fighting it. Then, and only then, is His power perfected in our weakness, and we discover the sufficiency of His Grace abounding towards us.
